Stephen Taylor is the CEO of Technology Scotland. With over 20 years of success in global sales, new business development, start-ups, consulting roles, and business management, Stephen’s varied career has included spells at Schlumberger, Philips Semiconductors and Jabil. In addition, he has lectured in Further Education and been interim CEO for a camera start-up. Stephen is keen to use his experience to drive Scottish technology businesses and SMEs.
Stephen has a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Strathclyde, an MBA from The University of Strathclyde Business School, and has enjoyed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
Senior Programme Manager
Ally is Technology Scotland’s Senior Programme Manager, engaging with a range of technical companies and organisations to drive Business Development. With a PHD in Catalysis and Surface Science from the University of Glasgow, as well as experience as a Senior Scientist, Research Chemist and Product & Marketing Manager, Ally brings a strong technical background combined with marketing, planning and communications expertise.
Emma is Technology Scotland’s Senior Programme Manager working on the organisation’s communications, events and member care. A language graduate from the University of Glasgow, Emma has gained marketing and events management experience in the consumer electronics, technology and not-for-profit sectors. She particularly enjoys working with start-ups and young businesses.
Francesca is Technology Scotland’s Marketing Executive looking after the group communications, marketing collateral, and website. With a MSc in Marketing with Sales Management and a BA in Languages Applied to Business (Italian, English, Russian, Spanish), Francesca has knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), web editing and event coordination. Currently, she works also for NMI as Marketing and Communications Management.
